Our Cinnamon Rolls Story
At the heart of this story are Dani and Brian, the family members behind Click & Chew's cinnamon rolls. It began back home in the Philippines during the pandemic. Like many people, we found ourselves spending more time at home and missing some of our favourite treats. One day, we were craving cinnamon rolls, but with strict restrictions in place at the time, getting them was not easy.
So, we decided to make our own.
What started as a simple craving quickly became a passion project that would eventually grow into a thriving business and one of Click & Chew's signature offerings today.
Sometimes, the Best Ideas Start with a Simple Craving
What started as a simple baking project quickly became something we were passionate about. We spent countless hours testing recipes, adjusting ingredients, and perfecting every detail until we created the cinnamon roll we had been dreaming about: soft, fluffy dough, a rich cinnamon filling, and a smooth cream cheese frosting.
Once we were happy with the recipe, we shared some rolls with our family and friends.
Their reaction surprised us.
They loved them so much that they kept telling us the same thing: "You should sell these."
Encouraged by their support, we continued refining our recipe and eventually launched an online cinnamon roll business. At first, we were baking and selling just a few dozen rolls at a time. We were excited every time a new order came in.
From Our Kitchen to Customers Across the Philippines
Then things started to grow faster than we ever expected.
Within a month of launching, our pre-orders were completely sold out for the following month. We found ourselves spending long hours baking, packing, and preparing orders to keep up with demand.
Soon, customers from different provinces across the Philippines were placing orders. What had started as a simple craving during the pandemic had grown into a thriving business that connected us with people who shared our love for freshly baked cinnamon rolls.
The Same Recipe, A New Home
Today, we're proud to see these cinnamon rolls becoming a local favourite in Dieppe, Moncton, and surrounding communities. Every batch is made using the very recipe Dani and Brian developed through years of testing, refining, and perfecting, staying true to the flavours and quality that customers first fell in love with in the Philippines.
For our family, these cinnamon rolls are more than just a baked treat. They represent hard work, perseverance, and a dream that started in a home kitchen and eventually made its way across the world. What began as a simple pandemic craving has grown into a business that allows us to share something we genuinely love with our community.
